More Than Thread

When you are working on DIY projects, do you notice that once you are done you end up with little bits and bobs, some may call waste? I make pillow cases so my bits are the tiny, tiny scraps of fabrics that can’t really be used for any further sewing, unless I was to start making patches. Not into that. Instead I use to throw them away. Waste. What a design flaw.

Since I clearly have this weirdness with waste I started up-cycling those tiny bits and bobs into tassels and pompoms. They are not as fluffy and fun as the ones made commercially but they are sustainable and quite colourful. Also I had some time to arrange them in a fun instagram worthy way, hehe, just being honest. What do you lovely people think? :-)
