Chaotic Crafts

Vietnam has never been on top of my travel list, but last week I had the chance to visit Saigon, Nha Trang and Dalat. Full of history, hustle & bustle, smiles and to my surprise, crafts. I did very little research heading out there as it was the most last second trip we could have planned, so everything was spur of the moment. A very relaxing get away from the hustle & bustle of Bangkok, my lame jokes to start your weekend with.
As you know I usually pick only one or two of my favourite places to write about, and today I chose just one store in Saigon, L’Uisine. It is literally a mini Vietnamese version of Anthropologie with a cafe and a painting bar! Everything an artist could fill their minds and belly with! They stock designer clothing as well as local brands, homeware, accessories and even cute little games. I even got myself a gorgeously illustrated 1880 Saigon version of the monopoly deal game. Cannot wait to play it with my ‘monopoly deal obsessed’ friend! She literally takes it on nights out in her adorable party clutch. Yes, we are the coolest kids in town, so get your games night on this weekend, because we sure will!
