Squeezes

It’s about where you let the sun shine. 

You have lived when you have felt a squeeze like pain in your heart. You know you have experienced something so beautiful, you are afraid to lose it. You have lived and loved so intensely that the mere thought of loss causes that squeeze. You almost even welcome it.. Just to remind yourself that you are capable of love like that again. To ensure that there are no regrets in your future endeavours.

Your first loss is the one you may never forget but it is the loss that pushes you to expand your limits. Though I miss him until it squeezes, I thank him everyday for teaching me how to live.
